  • 125 grams Maida (all-purpose flour)
  • 1½ teaspoons Dried red chilli powder
  • ½ kg Potato (boiled and mashed)
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 100 grams Green peas (boiled)
  • 25 grams Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • ¼ kg Groundnut oil (for frying)
  • ½ teaspoon Citric acid
  • a small piece Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Cashew nuts
  • 1 teaspoon Raisins
  • as needed Salt
  • 2 Green chilli

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes and mash them well. Mix in the chilli powder, turmeric powder, required salt, ginger, garam masala, cooked peas, cashews, raisins, coriander leaves, green chilli, and citric acid.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, fry the cumin seeds, saute the potato mixture in it, and let it cool.
  3. Mix 2 tablespoons of oil into the maida, add the required salt, add water, and knead into a dough.
  4. Roll this dough out into chapati-sized rounds and cut each in half. Fold each half into a cone shape, fill it with the potato mixture, and dab the edges with a little water on your finger to seal them.
  5. Deep-fry the filled cones until golden and remove.
