Ingredients

  • 200 Grams Semolina
  • 200 Grams Sugar
  • 150 Grams Ghee
  • a small amount Kesari powder (orange food colouring)
  • 4 Cardamom
  • 10 Cashew nuts

Instructions

  1. Heat a spoon of ghee in a pan and roast the semolina until golden. Fry the cashew nuts in ghee separately and set aside. Add water according to the quality of the semolina and stir. Once the semolina is well cooked, add the sugar. It will soften and then start to thicken. Keep stirring continuously so the kesari doesn't stick to the pan. Once it comes together well, add the remaining ghee and the kesari powder, stir, and remove from heat. Then add the cardamom powder and the fried cashew nuts.
