Ingredients

  • 250 Grams Okra
  • 2 Ladle Oil
  • Mustard seeds, urad dal
  • 4 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Green chilli
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 pieces Coconut (milk extracted)
  • Masala, salt, turmeric
  • gooseberry-sized Tamarind

Instructions

  1. Clean 250 grams of okra and cut into large pieces. Heat 2 ladles of oil, add mustard seeds and urad dal, and once they splutter, add 4 chopped onions, 1 green chilli and curry leaves, and sauté. Once slightly softened, extract milk from 2 pieces of coconut, mix in the ground masala, salt and turmeric, pour it in, and bring to a boil. As the gravy reduces, dissolve a gooseberry-sized ball of tamarind in water, pour it in, and let it boil until the oil separates on top, then remove from heat.
