Ingredients
- 250 Grams Gram flour
- 1 Pinch Baking soda
- ¾ Kilo Sugar
- ¾ Kilo Dalda or ghee
Instructions
- Put the sugar in a heavy vessel, add water to cover it, and boil it into a syrup. Once it reaches one-string consistency, sift in the gram flour with one hand while continuously stirring with the other so no lumps form. On another stove, melt the ghee and pour it into the mixture little by little at intervals, stirring continuously without stopping. When the ghee starts to bubble up and the mixture rises, add a little baking soda, stir, and pour it onto a ghee-greased tray, smoothing it out with a ladle — the Mysore Pak is then ready. Cut it into pieces before it cools completely.
